Ineffable was a local indie hip artist who commissioned me to come up with a logo and mixtape cover design. Specifications for the design included themes of nature, which is the reasoning behind the mountain and the Greek key representing a river. The biggest challenge was finding a way to visually personify the word ‘ineffable’ – something too great to be expressed in words.   To achieve this I chose to show someone peering through a telescope as to imply that whatever the person was looking at was ineffable in nature.
