Business Card Design: Emotional Counselor
Concept
The client requested a design that reflected a soft and welcoming personality with yellow and green being a color of choice for their brand. Upon questioning and interviewing them I discovered that butterflies were an animal they had a strong connection with and from there I formed the idea of a person transforming themselves by opening up and talking through what is bothering them emotionally.
I embodied this concept by drafting an illustration of a butterfly coming out of a chrysalis. I did the initial drawing using pen and ink then I scanned it and vectorized and colored it using adobe illustrator and finished the layout in the same program setting up the file ready for printing.
Business Card Design #2: Eden Healing
Concept
Eden Healing is a holistic wellness practice led by two professionals specializing in complementary services: massage therapy and nutrition and herbal wellness education. The goal was to create a business card that reflected both practitioners’ unique offerings while maintaining a cohesive and professional brand identity.
Execution
To highlight the distinct services provided by each practitioner, custom imagery was incorporated to visually represent their respective specialties. Natural-inspired graphic elements were used throughout the design to reinforce the themes of wellness, healing, and connection to nature. The reverse side of the card continues this visual language with a subtle collage of herbs and nutrient-rich foods, supporting the brand’s holistic focus. The logo, a floral motif enclosed within a circular form, evokes the shape of an iris and symbolizes self-reflection and inner well-being, encouraging viewers to look inward on their path to health.
